Our design process
Understanding, Shaping and Evaluating frame the way we work to develop solutions that are useful, usable and desirable.
Understanding
We make sure we understand the intent of the project (what success will look like) and all the key constraints. We identify who will use your product or service, the needs of different user groups and their knowledge, attitudes and behaviour.
The pay-off for you is a new, insightful way of seeing what you are planning to do and a better understanding of your users.
Shaping
We develop design concepts that allow ideas to be shared, tested and built upon. Early sketches, diagrams, models and paper mock-ups can be quickly reshaped. They encourage people to think through new ideas and scenarios. Later prototypes become more refined and include actual content.
The pay-off for you is a richer, faster and more fluid way to design, document and discuss solutions.
Evaluating
Our user first design approach requires testing of ideas, designs and prototypes with users and other stakeholders.
This testing and evaluation is what will ensure that the final product will meet its objectives. The key question is: Does the design work well for users?
