Rob McGregor

Clarity. Usability. Impact.

These are the goals that Rob pursues in helping clients develop information that communicates effectively and, in doing so, meets organisational objectives.

At User First Design Group, Rob usually leads the research to establish user needs. Later in the process he finds appropriate ways to test whether these needs, and client's objectives, are being met. Rob may also be the one to craft or edit text so it can be easily understood – but in language that retains richness and texture

Building on an academic background in language and education, he began consulting in 1990.

Rob lives in Sydney, follows cricket and rugby, goes to classical music concerts and is a fan of American comedians John Stewart and Stephen Colbert – experts with the language!

Greg Pendlebury

Maximum meaning in minimum reading.

Greg is a professional communicator specialising in providing clear, user-centred documentation.

His key skill is organising material in a way that makes sense to the user and writing in plain language. A background in teaching mathematics brings rigorous logical thinking to the task of explaining complex material in a simple way. His aim in all communication pieces is to influence the attitudes or behaviour of readers.

Greg cultivates a bushy beard (for its visual design) and enjoys his Harley Davidson (for its auditory design).
